Heard about the solar storm from yesterday’s news and wondered if I could capture it with the Sony NEX-6 with its Brightin Star 35mm F1.7. The shots ranged from a few seconds to as much as the max of 30 seconds. Really didn’t have any idea if I was going to get anything, but I kept reviewing the shots, and the live view did help to find the Solar Storm. The tripod that was used was a 3 leg mono pod, and I didn’t use a remote or timed release, just touched the shutter button for the shots.
