New lenses – Brightin Star, Sigma and Tamron.

I got the Brightin Star 35mm f1.7 in 2020 because I was getting tired of a Kiron 28mm f2 on an adapter that stuck out just too far. As you can see, the Brightin is quite small and fits really nice on the a6000’s body. Other benefits with this lens it offers being able to take pretty close shots w/o using closeup filters.

Sigma 30mm F1.4 Contemporary DC ND Lens

The next lens is the Sigma 30mm F1.4 Contemporary DC DN Lens eBay end of 2020. I had been desiring the Sigma lens for a while because with the Sony sensor crop it got to the same length as my beloved Minolta MD Rokkor 45mm f2 that I shot most of my film shots with. Some think that 50mm is the ideal lens, but not for me. I preferred the 45mm because it gives just a little more view. Plus with the Sigma 2 stops faster. It has become the favorite lens that I shoot my cappuccinos with, but since it doesn’t focus close enough, I have to use an old Vivitar closeup filter.😭

Tamron 17-70 F2.8 Di III-A VC RXD

Yesterday the newest lens arrived which is a lens that has one of the longest names, the Tamron 17-70 F2.8 Di III-A VC RXD, and it has been a lens that I have been desiring since it came out. Why you ask, well because it doesn’t suck like the SELP1650 kit lens and has nice bokeh… Well I did get it for whenever I’ll be able to shoot at Seattle Pride Parade, Bunka Fashion College fashion show and other things I like to photograph.
